Plus Size Glory

Once a week I’m going to start taking a look that you may see on the runway or “skinnier” gals and make it more accessible for us plus sized gals.  This week I am starting off with the asymmetrical skirt. For us plus sized gals it’s good to make sure that you get a skirt that’s a little longer in the front to make sure no issues arise. the colorful tank top on top adds color to the outfit, and the clutch brings it all together with it’s fun design.

With this outfit I was also inspired by a date night, but more of a night time date.  Cute pastel colored jeans are in this season, and the dark magenta color is a night time version.  This fun tank top paired with this grey cardigan will definitely make him call you a second time! ;)   TL: Forever 21 plus size ($17.80), BL:Forever 21 plus size ($19.80) R:Forever 21 plus size ($22.80)

I admit that I used to find myself trying to squeeze into clothing from the juniors section of clothing stores. Wearing clothing that didn’t fit properly had me constantly judging myself. Growing older I learned to embrace the woman’s section of stores, and found no shame in walking into a Lane Bryant or Torrid. Shopping is now one of my favorite past times, and I can’t seem to stop my mind from making up different outfits based off of a simple broach I may come in contact with. This is a blog where I’ll make up different outfits that are inspired by different things for plus sized women. I’ll include where to buy the items I’ve put up, and will post different outfits from my own closet to show you that you don’t even need to spend a fortune to look good!
